The 17th Annual Delmarva Folk
Festival will feature a workshop with blues master
Ernie Hawkins.
Ernie
Hawkins is a recognized expert in blues and ragtime
guitar, with 13
instructional DVDs, and multiple lectures, workshops
and residencies under his belt.
You can see him perform in
this video from one of his DVDs on YouTube.
Here's how it will work:
- Workshop will be held at 4pm on Saturday October
4th, and will last an hour.
- Cost is just $15 - a bargain for a workshop with
a master like Ernie Hawkins
- Participants must pay admission to the festival
for Saturday
- Bring your own guitar. You'll also be able to
use it later for a song circle around the campfire!
- Spots are very limited, so pay in advance when
you purchase your tickets. You can pay at our ticket
page.
- Due to space limitations, spectators will not
be allowed to observe the workshop unless they have
paid in advance for the workshop.
Note: Ernie Hawkins workshop is partially supported
by a grant from Pennsylvania Performing Arts on Tour,
a program developed and funded by The Heinz Endowments;
the William Penn Foundation; the Pennsylvania Council
on the Arts, a state agency; and The Pew Charitable
Trusts; and administered by Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation.
